Siloa's Church Council decided in October to start raising funds for a facility improvement project. This will coincide with the 125th anniversary of the founding of our congregation.
Although not very glamorous, the need for a new septic system and handicap accessible bathrooms is very real. The present system is often over taxed, especially during bigger events such as funerals, dinners and other celebrations.
We feel the timing is right to do it now. Our present goal is to raise $175,000 to accomplish this project. If funding allows, other building improvements may also be considered. The Council has decided to raise the funds before starting any improvements or construction because taking out a mortgage for this project is not feasible.
All gifts will be graciously accepted and dedicated to this fund. We encourage you to consider a one time gift or to pledge for giving over a two or three year period for the "125th Anniversary Fund." We will keep donors informed on the progress of the project.
