Pastor Dan Olson has announced his retirement! He will be departing from Siloa at the end of February. We were so blessed to have him (and Nancy) at Siloa for the past four years. A farewell lunch will be held on Sunday, February 24.
On March 31 (last Sunday of March) we will again host the annual Wild Game Feed. Come and enjoy a variety of game-- from fish to squirrel to pheasant. Salads and desserts will also be provided. It will begin right after our 10 am church service.
Joint Call Committee (with Salem) planned an interview via Skype but candidate had technical issues. We hope to re-schedule this in the very near future. We ask for prayers as we move on in this adventure. Members from Siloa on the call committee include: Sharon Peterson (co-chair), Cindy Broman, Bob Steffen, and Lynn Erickson (communicator). Please bring any questions, concerns, or suggestions to one of these members. Members from Salem on the call committee are: Roger Larsen, Sally Shugren, Wendy Linder, and Joel Johnson.
Special Request from Jan and Denny O'Brien: Jan and Denny are encouraging everyone to consider contacting, "BeTheMatch.org" and to consider signing up to be a part of the national bone marrow donation data base. Donors under the age of 44 are especially needed as younger cells are the most likely to be helpful. Persons over the age of 60 are not eligible to participate.
